You know, I cringe every time I read that word. I despise neologisms. Actually, I despise pretty much “neo-” everything.
So scratch that. Welcome to my journal. I delayed creating this thing for several years because it seemed such a pointless exercise in self-indulgence, and frankly, everything worth saying was already said over a century ago. All else is nonsense and noise, and I rather wish I could delete instead of adding.
But then I realized anyone with even moderate intelligence already knows this and will never read my words anyway. Plus my friends and family are sick of my commentary and I needed a dumping ground.
Rules of the site, in no particular order:
- This site only permits SSL (https) access, because that’s just the way I am.
- I do not believe in “blog etiquette” (cringe). I might edit, mangle, or delete any of my own posts at any time for any reason, even months or years later.
- I am on the fence about whether to allow comments. If I cared what you have to say, I would read your journal. At present, comments are enabled but moderated. Feel free to register and submit a comment, but understand I will only approve if a) I already know you or b) you are saying something intelligent. I also reserve the right to edit your comments without restriction.
If any of these bother you, go get your own site and then you can set the rules.
