Thanks for posting this. With the stock market rallying like no man’s business, for a while I thought I had done the wrong thing by getting into gold. Hopefully it won’t take too long for things to completely disintegrate and a new world order to come into play. I’m getting old and all this uncertainty is driving me nuts. It’s probably driving other people nuts too, but in my case, I’ve practically put my life on hold…not buying a house, can’t really make any long-range career plans, …

And if still not feeling used, how about L. Summers getting 135K to ‘talk’ to Goldman sucks…..

What is it about those guys, indeed. Yesterday, reading this and sniffing around not much further than Wikipedia, I learned that the ComptGen mentioned in the earlier post quit to join an organization I found kind of stinky, and to be associated with foundations likewise stinky, but I mostly let it go, making only mental note and a brief comment at the “those guys” link.

Today, I’m off on a tangent checking something about the Oklahoma city bombing, and I run into him again—or rather I run into the foundation Walker quit his ComptGen post to … well, let Wikipedia say it: “In 2008, Walker was personally recruited by Peter G. Peterson, co-founder of the Blackstone Group, and former Secretary of Commerce under Richard Nixon, to lead his new foundation. The Foundation distributed the documentary film, I.O.U.S.A.”

The Wikipedia article on Walker is spun to high heaven… but I take that for granted and am only mentioning this now because it is not, I guess, common knowledge that Wikipedia is no democracy and is run by an Ayn Rand umm… enthusiast. To say that certain currents of bias influence some of the articles is perhaps as diplomatic as I can force myself to be on that.

What it is about “those guys” is they run in tight, though rather large, incestuous circles. A lot of them tend to move from the foundation jobs to government to running hedge funds… like that.

What I ran into today in my unrelated reading is an August 2008 report by historian Anton Chaitkin, “Billionaire’s Movie `IOUSA’: You Must Die So I Can Collect.” … “A Goebbels-style fraud, ‘IOUSA’ makes no reference whatsoever to the dying industrial economy, or to the destruction wrought by speculator parasites in the post-1971 globalist system. It pumps up viewers with statistics of growing national debt and supposedly out-of-control commitments to Social Security and Medicare.

“The underlying London political agenda was chillingly spelled out in a 2007 essay, ‘America’s Economy: Headed for Crisis,’ co-authored by Peterson. Demanding drastic cuts to workers’ benefits… [etc…]”

Feeling used is you or your loved one not getting should be available health care because some wretched bean-counter… No! some *EVIL BEAN-HOARDER* is running the show.

To hell with balancing the budget and fiscal austerity. I say it’s time to settle accounts.

    INCONCEIVABLE!

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.
