John Stewart vs. CNBC

The story so far…

John Stewart went postal on Rick Santelli, Jim Cramer, and the rest of CNBC:

Then Cramer defended himself in writing.

Then Stewart issued an… uh… “apology”.  Which took the first five minutes of the show.

(Actually, the whole episode is pretty good.)

Then on Wednesday:

And finally, Cramer is going to be Stewart’s guest on Thursday night.  Fun, fun.

Update

OK, it was really, really good. Stewart asked some surprisingly excellent questions. Cramer totally failed to answer them. This may be the best not-funny Daily Show episode ever. That this interview was performed by a comedy show is a sad reminder of just how worthless mainstream journalism is these days.
